点评:Well, this visit to Docket was in December and a few days just before Christmas! So technically, this is my Christmas dinner outing treat..
Having been here plenty of times ! And I had plenty of banging courses ! Like always, you're guaranteed an excellent time with food and wine..
So let's begin, shall we......
So we had the docket canapés classics to start you off...
Croustade and the cracking chickpea chips..
Then the first course of the day is..
Crab, Lemongrass, Kaffir Lime & red pepper.
What joy this was ! Flavour town and you get to dip and sip...
Next to the table was..
Butternut squash, Yuzu, winter Viola,Pumpkin Seed..
Getting a bold and better flavour out of butternut Squash is in my eye's hard ! And yet again Docket perfected this ! Who would of thought you can make butternut Squash good..
So Brown Shrimp, Courgette, Fennel & Saffron.. this was nice & light ! Sauce was the same, tastefully light and delightful..
So the fish Course was up next, and that consisted of.
Halibut, Seaweed, Smoked Bonito, swa Fennel..
The halibut was a lovely jubbly piece of fish, the sauce packed a goodun punch of flavour.
So for the last one before we go to the sweet selection...
We have..
Beef, beer & Onion, kohlrabi, Mustard Seeds and a beef Pithivier.
What a brilliant main this was ! Beef was so tender! And the pie was banging to hell...
So I just had to have the docket cheeseboard! Always the right amount and good chutneys and that..
So to start the sweet selection! I had..
lime, yoghurt, dark run, mint..
This was formed as a lollypop, and was well refreshing and delicate..
So what's next??
Blackcurrant, 54% Dark Chocolate, Hazelnut, Sablé...
Rich, dark, silky, smooth, delicious and slight acidity from the Blackcurrant Sorbet..
So it finish off a banging lunch we had to well made petit Fours called pick 'n' Mix...
All I can say is that Docket no33 is just a great restaurant to eat at ! And a friendly place to eat as well...

所以,棕虾、西葫芦、茴香和藏红花……这道菜清淡爽口!酱汁也一样,味道清淡,令人愉悦……
接下来是鱼类菜肴,包括……
大比目鱼、海藻、烟熏鲣鱼、茴香……
大比目鱼肉质鲜嫩多汁,酱汁的浓郁口感更是令人回味无穷。
在我们品尝甜点之前,最后一道……
我们有……
牛肉、啤酒洋葱、苤蓝、芥菜籽和牛肉皮蒂维尔。
这道主菜真是太棒了!牛肉太嫩了!馅饼更是香到爆……
所以我必须点一份奶酪拼盘!分量总是恰到好处,还有美味的酸辣酱……
那么,甜点开始啦!我吃了……
青柠、酸奶、黑麦面包、薄荷……
这道甜点做成了棒棒糖的形状,口感清爽细腻……
接下来是什么呢?
黑加仑、54% 黑巧克力、榛子、沙布雷……
黑加仑雪芭浓郁、浓郁、丝滑、顺滑、美味,略带酸味……
最后,我们用精心制作的名为“pick 'n' Mix”的花式小点心结束了这顿丰盛的午餐……
我只能说,Docket no33 是一家很棒的餐厅!而且环境也很友好……
