Dickens Cocktail Bar的点评
点评：The place itself is nice and decor is retro.
Despite the fact it wasn’t that busy, it took forever and a day for the drinks to be made (thank goodness wasn’t wasn’t busy!).
Then the cocktails came and do strong, they didn’t taste nice at all. The aperol
Spritz, not only was it so strong it tasted like petrol, it was flat. There was no sparkle in at all. After much deliberation, I went to the bar and politely said, it is too strong, the barmaid shrugged her shoulders. I repeated it and she shrugged her shoulders again. I asked for some extra soda water, she gave me a small bottle. The glass was filled so it didn’t make any difference. I went back to the bar and asked for a second glass and hoping it may prompt them to change it. Oh no…,
In the end I gave up and ordered a bottle of lager. They charged me for the cocktail, a bottle of soda water and the beer, when we tried to say about the cocktail, they said it wasn’t their fault that I didn’t like it!
I don’t think they have ever heard of customer service. This was not about the cost of it, as the cocktails and drinks were very reasonably priced, they just wouldn’t accept that it was not drinkable and did not taste nice. They could easily have offered to remake it or replace it and they simply refused.
Won’t ever go back and advice is to learn some customer service skills. Oh and smile!
