点评:This was a random walk in; no research at all. To say I’m impressed by the food is an understatement. The waiter was attentive and knew the menu. He told about the three specials no we ordered all of them; not something we’d usually do. He was surprised.
The Mooloolaba prawn was one of the nicest prawns I’ve ever had. Taste of the sea, what more can I say. My wife sucked the head which she never does.
The lamb shoulder spring role was just as good. Coupled with the lettuce, herbs and slightly chilli sauce, it was to die for. Two from two so far.
We tempted fate and had the beef wagyu cheek. Knock me over and revive me. Was one of the best beef cheeks I’ve had in years if not ever. Absolutely perfectly rendered with a burnt crust that fell apart in the mouth. My kind of cheek.
Spoil yourself and try the cocktails, they are great. Great wine list with some hidden gems…you don’t have to look hard. 5 stars for this one. Highly recommend
