点评:We were given a lovely Family Suite (well, after a standard room wasn't made up) - the only problem was I booked a Deluxe Suite. We were led to believe it was the right room. After discovering it wasn't the reception (since the manager was nowhere to be found) started telling numerous different stories: the room is closed for the season, your booking agent made a mistake, it's the same size and price (it's not), there's nothing they can do (this for a 4* hotel), ...and the latest is that the booking agent only told them at the last minute to give us the Deluxe Suite - I got an email reply from the hotel confirming the Deluxe Suite weeks before. The booking agent rang them and they were told that we were in the Deluxe Suite!
Furthermore the aircon didn't work, Alexa only spoke German, the room wasn't service on our 2nd day and the breakfast was lackluster. Is complete honesty/clarity not valued anymore? Unfortunately since they weren't forthcoming from the start I couldn't trust anything subsequently. Maybe it was the booking agent's error but then it should have been between the hotel and them - not the client. All the disappointment was a direct result of the reception not being upfront from the start.
