If 0 stars was an option, I’d give it that. Once we had arrived to get the boat, all the staff were fine, I have no complaints about them whatsoever. We successfully got to the cafe they had recommended to us without any issues. However on the way back the rope got stuck onto the propeller since we hadn’t tied it, which we know that the company couldn’t help so we cannot blame them. We were stuck in the Cetina River waiting for someone to either tow us back to the where all the boats were moored or call the guy that owned the boat. Somebody eventually came whonknew the owner then gave them a call. We thought when we were going to get back a guy would be waiting and he would undo the rope without any fuss.
Once we got back the guy giving us a tow back parked up there was a guy letting us out, but towards the back of the boat there was another guy that we thought he was letting us out, but no, he was just trying to give us a load of grief saying “it’s your fault” when really it was an accident. This wasn’t the worst part, when we said “actually it’s not-“ he interrupted us and called us an “Irish mother f**ker.” This was completely unnecessary as it was just an accident and couldn’t exactly be helped as it was tightly wrapped around. Not even that, he could see it was in front of a child, and on the passenger boat we got towed on had at least 3 kids onboard!
We complained to the agent that recommended it to us and she apologised, she said that from that time forward she’d be dealing with her own clients. Everything apart from that was fine. You will not experience this anymore probably as it’ll be the lady who will pull your boat back in (the lady was very nice).
