Quietly situated hotel near Florence

点评：The hotel is not big ( around 26 rooms) quietly situated on top of a hill surrounded by trees. The rooms are nice and clean, as is the bathroom. All rooms have mosquito screens, which is necessary during the summer. We had a room on the ground floor, no balcony but what you would call a French balcony: no room to sit but the possibility to open the window door. There is swimming pool with sunbeds and parasols and 4 more or less private Jacuzzi's. You can order drinks from the bar by using the special device on the table near your sunbed. There is a big terrace in an open tent with a bar. Unfortunately, but understandable, that was not open during our stay at the beginning of September. The receptionists speak English and like others we have met are friendly and helpful. Breakfast at the hotel is a buffet with a good choice. Diner is also possible from a limited choice of local Tuscan dishes. There are a few other restaurants in the surrounding area. There is also the possibility to rent fat bikes.
The hotel lies approx.. 20 min by car from Florence. It is a good point to start discovering Tuscany.
