点评:Hotel room was massive and well equipped with a very impressive view of the harbour. However some things needed some maintenance, such as broken shower tiles. You get 3 coat hangers in a large wardrobe. For the hefty price, we expected it to be perfect.
You have to be very fit to climb two sets of stairs up to the second floor as there is no lift.
Breakfast was very expensive and the friendly member of staff hadn’t actually ever prepared some of the things we asked for. However, what a beautiful view across the harbour for having a lazy breakfast. One of the receptionists didn’t speak much English so communicated with her was difficult.
The rooftop restaurant wasn’t open when we went in May, which was disappointing.
Although dog friendly, there isn’t any grass for the dog to do its business so you have to cross a busy road for the nearest patch.
At weekends, the music from the bar on the opposite side of the harbour was extremely loud and bassy and went on until the early hours of the morning. So if you’re a light sleeper, be prepared with your earplugs! Not the fault of the hotel but something to be aware of.
Overall, it was a pleasant enough stay but I felt that the room was overpriced.
