点评：We went on the Voyageurs National Park Discovery Tour. The tour was great - even on a cloudy, windy, COLD August day! Thunderbird Loge was the perfect location for lunch after the noon end time for the tour. The lodge building, location and staff were perfect. It really is a great setting. There were about 8 or 9 tables being served by one very helpful and friendly waitress - Carissa. The gal behind the bar came out to help as much as she could. They were busy and doing a good job! The issue was that we wanted to have walleye while in this 'known for walleye fishing' country. The 3 of us ordered 2 walleye sandwiches. Plenty of food. But breaded and fried ruined the good fish inside. Really - a McDonalds fish sandwich is better. The seasoned fries were pretty good. We didn't try anything else on the menu, but there are probably other items that would make for a good experience here. Not the walleye!! I won't say that I wouldn't go back, just not if I was hungry for walleye!
