San Marcos Cafe and Feed的点评
点评：The hubs and I went for a day trip south of Santa Fe and stopped in to the San Marcos Cafe-which has just recently reopened. It's a small restaurant next to the Feed Store behind and it's set into an old adobe with painted chairs and vintage decor. The smaller room had the fireplace on and we sat in there-it has a view of the large bird hutch in back, where the peacocks live.
The hubs ordered the San Marcos Burrito Xmas (both red and green chile) and it was delicious with roast beef, potatoes and really hot green chile. We will go back for that for sure.
I ordered the small order of biscuits and gravy-it is was ok, not as wonderful as the reviews. The gravy is fine, but the biscuit was heavy and took the dish down for me. At $11.50 for a full plate of biscuits and gravy-I would have been super disappointed. Full disclosure-mine are really good! The server was friendly and asked if I wanted any hot sauce and I said I did-but it never came.
Text time we will try and cinnamon rolls, which are supposed to be wonderful.
