点评:On the plus side, the service and ambiance was great. But the food..... yikes! We used to count on this place for great food but this time, it was so...not. I don't know how you manage to have dry chicken when it is floating in two plus inches of what was (primarily) balsamic vinegar. (Had to be served in a bowl.) Way too heavy on the vinegar ...and the polenta rafts on which the chicken rested, completely dissolved into the sauce every time you attempted to get it on the fork. The result was polenta vinegar mush in the bowl. The salmon my friends had was perfectly cooked but also in way too much saucy stuff...so much that they could not find the drowned quinoa that supposedly came with it. A side of mashed potatoes tasted exactly like the instant kind that come in a box which I happen to find not bad for flakes...but not for the whopping $35-$60 per entree. (Appetizers and salads were $20 each) Even the bread which arrived in a tiny basket (no charge since we had entrees, thank you) was just dry sliced, store-bought bread ...nothing to write home about, and sour dough is not great that way, if you ask me. What ever happened to warm dinner rolls and artisan bread? Never again.
