点评：We should have turned around and left the moment we arrived. When the hostess brought us to our table on the outside balcony, there were about 10 pigeons eating all the food that was dropped on the floor under the table. There were plenty of open tables and when my wife politely objected, to sitting with a flock of pigeons at our feet, we expected to be offered another table. The hostess, however, just scared most of the pigeons away. She seemed adamant to sit us at that table.
We were so shocked, we just waited for her to scoot the pigeons away and kick the food under another table that also had food and pigeons under it.
We were overly hungry and tired so we tolerated a lot more than normal. After they moved the food from under the tables, most of the birds left.
Less than one minute after sitting, we were approached my a woman taking and selling pictures! This is very unusual in a restaurant setting in our experience. It was very annoying because, as I said, we were hungry.
One minute after the photographer left, a Mariachi band approached the table. We respectfully declined their offer.
To this point we hadn’t seen a waitperson but had been solicited by a photographer and a mariachi band! What kind if restaurant does that?
Fast forward to the drinks and food. My wife’s vodka tonic was fine. I ordered a beer that had particles floating near the bottom of the glass. Something I did not notice until the beer was almost gone. Gross.
The food was 2 at best. Honestly, if we weren’t so hungry, we would have sent the entire order back.
The burgers were very overcooked and dry. The fries were basically burnt, dry and flavorless. The coleslaw was uneatable with a strange chemical flavor.
The potato salad was actually decent. That is the only good thing I can say about the entire experience.
Avoid this place. There are so many great restaurants on the River Walk. I don’t know how this place stays in business.
