点评:We've been coming to this bijou of a restaurant after finding it by accident in 2007. It was delicious then and, if possible, it's even better 17 years later. An intimate venue with both a very comfortable formal dining room and more casual "patio" area, this is the place we bring all our out-of-town guests and our three adult daughters and their families when they're visiting. As if we needed another example, our dinner last night was merveilleux. We were welcomed by Diego and his very capable staff as if we were visiting royalty, and one of Diego's signature Cosmos was waiting for me. My husband and I split the escargots - tender, juicy morsels served with all the fresh, warm bread necessary to soak up the garlic butter - then the trio de champignons - warm brie and a variety of toothsome mushrooms nestled in golden puff paste - and finally, foie gras that would make the angels applaud, served with homemade, wafer-thin crostini and micro greens. While usually not a dessert girl, I can never resist their Grand Mariner soufflé with homemade, flavored whipped cream to top the evening off. The beautiful setting, the service par excellence, and the delicious food (don't forget to check out their daily specials) - even Carthusian monks would shout for joy. One more benefit - there's plenty of free parking. Hurry up and go to Le Rendezvous!
