点评：Went for a pretheater dinner. We had a reservation but were seated in the bar anyway, the only available table in the main dining room was against a wall, next to the kitchen. A couple came into the bar with their dog, who was well behaved but, really? I did not expect to eat with the animals.
We were not given a drink menu or offered drinks. I had to ask for it. We waited 15 minutes to be recognized at all, the waiter seemed to have too many tables. Based on that we told the server we had theater tickets. Without asking the time, he put all of our food order in together, so the appetisers were served together with the main course, which we definitely had not asked for and did not went. We sent the main course back, but rather than recook or even replate it, they just reserved it the minute we finished the appetisers. I had ordered short ribs. My meal was cold. My wife had salmon, which was undercooked even though she asked for it to be well done and they already took it back once. So hers went back a second time, for almost 10 minutes, while my meal got even colder.
All through the meal it felt to me like the wait staff was hovering, trying to clear our plates away before we were finished and rush us out.
In terms of taste, the appetiser, burata, was very good, although the tomatoes were tasteless. The rest of the meal was decent, other than the temperature. I had a nice glass of cabernet that was reasonably priced.
It's attractive restaurant inside and conveniently located in downtown Providence, but all in all a very mixed experience and we won't be hurrying back.
