点评：In Crescent City as a base for exploring the redwoods and surrounding area. When looking for seafood, this establishment had good reviews and decided to try. Located near the harbor tucked behind other businesses off 101. The first night we went at 6:15 and they were declining new patrons. Their closing time is 7 pm and the grill stops at 6:30 pm. They will close the door earlier so they are done at 7:00, so earlier is better. The second night we reserved a table - when you look up Crescent Seafood on Google Maps, it gives you an option to reserve a table at a specific time. This seemed to work well, understanding feelings about Google (and other techs) taking over the world. We asked the server how they felt about it and she told us that it worked for them to help manage patron flow and to be able to contact someone who made a reservation, if necessary. Parking was ample and the building is certainly humble. We were greeted warmly and seated promptly. There are cases with fresh seafood for sale as this originally was a fish market. The menu is huge. Service was pleasant and efficient even though there was a touring group ordering and eating at the same time. We ordered cioppino, grilled shrimp cocktail, and a crab melt. The grilled shrimp cocktail was great with a sauce they mix in-house that perfectly complimented the grilled shrimp. The crab melt was very good, as was the cioppino. We noticed that the “Closed” sign was up (and the “Open” neon sign was off) when we left at 6:20. Would recommend without reservations - if in the area would definitely return to try some of the other menu items.
