点评:Good service, awesome pizzas but the red wine was served way TOO warm to be good. At least 20 degrees too warm (should be served around 54-57F). What a shame for a place with such delicious food. My friend had a Canteen IPA and it was unbeatable.
Ordered the Bianca (ham, spicy oil, mozzarella, gorgonzola, goat cheese, portobellos, caramelized onions, tomatoes, fresh rosemary) and the Gamberoni (fiery shrimp, spicy oil, mozzarella, asiago, tomatoes, red onions, basil) – both scrumptious. Upon delivery to the table, we were offered freshly grated parmesan – for sure – please. Crust is just the right thickness and cooked to perfection with just enough doughiness left to make it a tiny bit chewy. The spiciness was also well balanced, not overpowering.
The spicy oil jug on the table, however, had oil that tasted old, nearly rancid. They should have smaller containers of oil and replenish them more often to keep the oil fresh.
They mis-charged me ($2.50 in my favor) on the warm wine which I didn’t notice until I got home, and the receipt was in my email inbox. I guess it made up a bit for too warm of a red wine.
I would come back to try another pizza but never order it with a red wine again.
Wait staff was good, efficient, unobtrusive. Would’ve given it a 5 star if it weren’t for the red wine.
