点评：We had a flawless outrigger canoe experience with guide Dorian (sp?). He steered and powered the canoe expertly with our four rank amateur paddlers. He and the Maui Pacific team did a great job launching and beaching the outrigger so that we felt confident and safe.
We didn't choose to actually swim with the turtles, but we saw a couple of them "up close and personal." It was a thrill. We even had the chance to pick up a mess of floating lobster netting and do our bit to protect sea creatures.
Most importantly, Dorian helped us do a little memorial for a recently deceased aunt. Once Dorian got us far enough out from the shore, each of us cast a lei on the water, and Dorian even sang a Hawaiian song honoring those who had come before. Thank you, Dorian, for making this a totally wonderful outrigger trip. It was the highlight of our time on Maui!
