Best Western Plus Hotel Ilulissat的点评
点评：The hotel is new and if you book a room with a view the rooms are larger than the standard rooms, however given they face the sun-the rooms are exceptionally hot. Standard rooms are very small with maybe 1/2 meter between wall and bed. The staff does not close the drapes and as such the sun bakes the room-you can only turn the thermostat down to 20 degrees which did nothing to cool off the room-nor did opening the window. I had a to switch to a standard room-which is very small but does not face the sun. Hotel did not compensate me for changing to a smaller room. Breakfast at the hotel was amazing. No lack of salad, eggs, breads, yogurt, fruit etc. Hotel is centrally located within walking distance to everything. I booked directly with the Best Western and the hotel cancelled my reservation without notifying me. I discovered the cancellation and was thankfully able to rebook. This would have been a nightmare if I did not realize this until I arrived as the hotel was soldout. Hotel did not honor my request for a higher floor room and attempts to reach the hotel in advance to ask questions went unanswered. One morning I ran out of hot water in the shower. I stayed for a week and house keeping stopped cleaning towards end of stay. I also had to ask the hotel for soap in the bathroom. Beds are comfortable and hotel does a bag of laundry at a very reasonable rate. The biggest issues for me were the cancellation of my reservation, the warmth of the room (fans are not available) and the hotel tried charging me more for my room. Thankfully I had a copy of my rsvp.
