点评：My wife and I celebrated our sixth wedding anniversary at the Committee Chophouse over Memorial Day weekend. While the food was top-notch, the service ruined our evening.
From the second we were seated we were rushed the entire time by our server. When our server, James first approached us and asked what we’d like for an appetizer he also pushed us to place our order for the main dish. James acted disinterested from the time we arrived. We told him we’d like some time to look over the menu. He approached us three times asking if we were ready to place our entry. Rather than enjoying the evening and appetizer, we felt rushed to order our main dish. We hadn’t even been seated at our table for twenty minutes when our steaks came out.
The restaurant was aware we were celebrating our wedding anniversary and told us “cheers”!. A nearby table involved a couple celebrating the woman’s birthday. Their server informed them that their dessert was on the house and then he surprised the couple with a glass of champagne. This was frustrating to see the difference in service between your wait staff.
In short, the service was so disappointing for a high-end steak house that we will not be returning.
