点评：Soy Tejano. ( In the interest of transparency!) I've been living ,full time, in various locales in Panama for 25+ years and, due to the obvious cultural proclivities, being a native Texan, am a complete sucker for any cuisine claiming to be " Mexican".
Owner " Jaime" a Michoacaán native, has nailed it with this main street restaurant in Volcan....covered parking, by the way!
Warm, THIN tostados with FRESH pico de gallo, were our starters followed by a kick ass traditional tortilla soup replete with avocado, white cheese and sour cream. I enjoyed the beef enchiladas....CORN tortillas as they should be! ....with a perfectly spiced red sauce.... Not too hot for the typical Panamanian palate but with enough kick to get your attention. The wife unit enjoyed tacos al pastor, again fresh and perfectly seasoned. All portions are large and could be split.
The service was friendly and efficient.
We were too full to report on the postres....desserts.... We'll hit those next trip which will certainly be soon.
We enjoyed meeting the owner,
Jaime, who stopped by the table, introduced himself , insuring everything was to our satisfaction.
Restrooms are clean, too!
