点评:This meal was a mix of highs and lows for us. The restaurant vibe is casually tropical, and the courtyard was a nice, quiet respite from the busy neighborhood. Service was prompt. The Pina Colada is outstanding - not at all the drink of my misspent youth. They also do a daiquiri three ways, none of which is a neon-colored slushie. We started off with the manchego/mushroom toast, which was great. Rich, salty and mushroomy. Would be spectacular for breakfast with an egg on top. We had mixed reviews of our entrees. My partner ordered the spare ribs, and really liked them. The dish overall is quite the flavor-bomb, with lots of contrasting textures as well. Maybe a little high on acidity overall for my taste. I ordered the arroz con pollo, which I wasn't crazy about. It was a beautiful and appetizing dish. The chicken was a little dry. But the rice was the real problem for me. Too much saffron can have a bitter, medicinal taste. It overwhelmed the whole dish for me, and I wasn't able to enjoy it. I would try this spot again, because what did work was great. But this experience was a little uneven.
