点评：If you want a wide variety of both traditional food and cajun creole food, I highly recommend Vacherie. It has both a bar and restaurant plus a coffee shop, all located inside Hotel St. Marie.
This is always our first stop for food and drinks when we get to New Orleans. And usually our last stop before heading up to our room for dessert and night caps.
Pre covid it had an actual dining room with cloth tablecloths and everything. We really enjoyed it that way and hope one day they bring it back.
For now you can eat at the bar or tables in the bar. They also do have a happy hour with food and drink specials during that time. For the most part, the bartenders are pretty friendly and will chat with you if they aren't busy. The noise level can get a little loud at times because it's not a huge space. But all in all, it is a great atmosphere right in the heart of the French Quarter.
