点评:We were hungry and tired after a long drive to attend a UNC-G Music Camp concert our grandson performed in. We chose Taaza without high expectations - we like Indian food, we were hungry, and how bad could it be? It is a very modest looking place, clean, but not glamourous. Lo and behold, we were surprised and delighted by the excellent preparation of vegetarian dishes and the kind and pleasant service. We had Crispy Okra, a Dahl dish (not the yellow kind, the other), and a charred eggplant dish. I've cooked a lot of Indian food and both my husband and I have eaten a lot of Indian food, and we rated our dinner as good as any we've had at restaurants in NYC or London. These dishes were not thrown together - the spices were layered and the flavors deep. I think it is easier to make meat dishes tasty - getting the most out of vegetables takes skill and really good recipes, and Taaza has both. Any time we are in Greensboro we will be planning another dinner there.
