2400 Diner的点评
点评：We were in the Fredericksburg area recently and I Googled a and found the 2400 Diner had very positive reviews. The place is small, and we had to wait outside until seating became available. It was a relatively warm day but managed to find a cool space outdoors. After waiting for what seem to be forever (20-25 minutes) we were able to be seated in one of the booths near the entrance. Only problem with this seating was anyone coming on and the bumping on the back of the booth seat when they entered the inside. We came when the breakfast menu was over, and the lunch menu was offered. Limited seating was available at the counter, but we opted to sit in a booth. This placed has a local following. It looked like it was a place for friends and neighbors to gather and enjoy each other’s company. It seemed there was limited staff on hand because the person taking the orders was also responsible for cleaning the tables. It took a goodly amount of time after we ordered to receive our food. There was only one waitress on duty. The menu items were standard diner fare with some Greek and Italian recipes My husband’s favorite is liver and onions ($9.95 with fried onions and gravy) any orders it when we go to a restaurant that serves it. It came with his choice of potato, a salad, vegetables, and dinner rolls. The portion size was sufficient, and he gave it a thumbs up. I ordered the Chicken Parmigiana ($11.95 served with spaghetti and meat sauce) and came with a house salad and dinner rolls. The parmigiana was delicious. The place is small but clean. Parking is limited and consider yourself lucky if you find a parking spot. It lives up to its positive reviews. Try it, you will like it.
