点评:My wife, sister-in-laws, a friend, and I recently dined at The Collins Quarter on Bull Street, and overall, it was a good experience with a few notable highlights—and a few drawbacks.
First, the service was excellent. Our server was friendly, attentive, and did a great job managing our table. The food ranged from good to very good, with beautifully plated dishes that showed real attention to detail. Cocktails were well-crafted and complemented the meal nicely.
However, there were a couple of things that kept the experience from being perfect. The noise level inside was very high, making it difficult to hold a conversation. One of our appetizers—the prawns—fell short of expectations, lacking the flavor and quality we found in the rest of the meal. We also noticed that while the staff was hustling during a busy service, management seemed disengaged, more focused on ambience (like lighting candles) than assisting the overwhelmed team.
Still, despite these issues, we enjoyed our time and would definitely return for another meal. The strengths of The Collins Quarter outweigh the shortcomings, and it’s worth a visit if you’re in downtown Savannah
