点评:This was our second time eating at St. Bibiana. The first time we ate here we were seated at a table in the back of the restaurant, but this time we were seated at a small table in the front garden view area. The tables are very small in this area, which is a problem for the theme of the restaurant itself, which is shared entrées and sides. There was nowhere near enough room for a simple order with wine. We ordered the Bronzino and flat iron pork chop. Both were delicious and beautifully presented, but because they both come on large plates to share there was absolutely no room for them both. We love the ability to get a half bottle of wines, but again they had to bring extra side tables to put our wines on. This is a problem that definitely needs to be addressed. Fewer but larger tables need to be incorporated if they’re gonna continue on the shared platters and multiple wine carafes. Our dining experience felt very cramped and uncomfortable because of the small table we were sitting at
Our server, Candice, did the best she could under the circumstances, but you could tell that she understood our plight. She was also trying to help us navigate a wine and spirits list that had many options that were unavailable. This seemed to be a theme on the hotel side bar service as well. There seem to be a lot of finger pointing going on behind the scenes, but the bottom line is that there were many options that we requested that were out of stock. Does the chef know that there is no room for the beautiful food on these tiny tables? We love the options for wine, pairings, but bigger tables are an absolute necessity to accommodate what the restaurant requires the diners to do with the food and wine service.
