点评：I read that this was a "must visit" place on someone's article on must-eat-at places in Savannah. Even pulling up and seeing the torn awning, I figured it was because of Helene coming through. But inside the decrepitude and moldy smell was clearly from many months of not being cleaned or taken care of. But STILL, we forged on because of the recommendations. (Plus we'd dashed in to use the bathroom saying we'd be ordering in a minute) Hole in the wall and all. We should have been smarter, honestly, especially seeing the one patron in the dingy dining area (who turned out to be an employee). Only one other patron ate there while we did. Tables weren't cleaned, salt and pepper shakers were mostly empty and we had to hunt them down. Given the employees' lackluster attitudes and the rundown atmosphere, it looks like the owners have given up. The food was just okay, and we were super annoyed that we wasted our fried chicken experience here. Mashed potatoes were tasteless and lukewarm and cornbread was meh.
