点评:Although I was told that the owners were Mexican and Hungarian, the menu was fairly typical Mexican, with a few unusual items, emphasizing Veracruz-style seafood dishes. My wife had chicken mole and I and our friend had molcajete, which is a house specialty. She liked the mole but it tasted rather bland to me. The molcajete is essentially a stew containing jalapenos, cactus leaves, broth and chicken, shrimp or beef. Without knowing how to eat this, I scooped it into corn tortillas and rolled them up. Despite the jalapenos, this was rather bland yet wet and messy to eat. I tried this dish because I wanted something other than familiar Mexican food, but in retrospect, I should have stayed with the latter. The red sangria was very good, but they were out of almost all the desert items. We had the tres leches cake, which was very nice and our friend had churros, which he liked. I ordered Mexican coffee, which tasted like spiced tea rather than the strong Latin coffee I expected. The molcajete was $35 each and the check came to $144 for the three of us - rather expensive for a Mexican restaurant. Altogether, a decent but uninspiring meal at a rather high price.
