When I think of a normal New York city hotel, I think of busy and unpersonel. This hotel is friendly and quaint even when sold out.
We stayed in the King Suite. Love it when Prosecco is served @ checkin. The room was nice. The bed was comfy. My 25 year old daughter slept on the sleeper sofa and said it was fine. The bar had all the needed utilities to use it as a bar. Most rooms in NY are small. This room was not. Plenty of space to lay out for 3-4 people.
Block and a half walk to subway (3 min). Short walk to One World Trade Center. Very low traffic directly around hotel. They recognized my daughters birthday and made her feel special. The front desk and staff made us all feel special.
Breakfast was good and coffee was surprisingly good. Seems like in a world of coffee shops and good coffee, most hotels can't do it right.
Look forward to visiting again.
