PB Boulangerie Bistro的点评
点评：Thank goodness PB Boulangerie is at least a 30 min drive from our home-base on the Cape, or else we would be much too frequent visitors. We typically come here for patisserie (swoon!) and things like ham & cheese croissants (yum!). I also particularly want to mention and applaud the specialty cakes we have ordered here for birthdays and anniversaries. We've sampled several, and they are all outstanding. The Pompadour is pretty sensational.
I make my own sourdough bread, so I don't really buy bread anymore, and can't comment on the bread offerings here. It also has been at least several years since we last had a meal at the restaurant here (staying in & cooking more these days than eating out), but, again, the patisserie offerings (the sorts of things I could never recreate at home) are delectable, and PB Boulangerie is, without a doubt, the best place on all of Cape Cod (and beyond) for European style desserts.
If you fancy pairing a walk with your indulgences, the Cape Cod Rail trail is just a few feet away (a large separate parking lot is across the street from the Bistro), and you can enjoy a stroll among the pines, and, if feeling particularly energetic, even walk all the way to Marconi Beach (it's a trek but doable). Also within easy driving reach is the Audubon Wellfleet Bay Sanctuary and its vistas and peaceful trails.
