点评：Great BBQ place in Dan Diego’s gaslamp area. Would not have guessed, being from Texas, that a California place could be this good. Went there first on a food tour and had to go back the next day because the food and Smokin’ J’s Lager beer was so very good. We had the pulled pork on the food tour and a sample of the Lager. Amazing smoke flavor to the pulled pork, but, again, being a Texan, I judge BBQ places on their brisket. Went back the next day to try the brisket. It did not disappoint. Great bark, juicy and such a great flavor. Very impressed. If you are in San Diego near the Gaslamp area, maybe for a Padres game or something, give this place a try. You won’t be disappointed. The service is super friendly and helpful and the owner was on site and also very friendly and made you feel very appreciated. Just a great experience from start to finish.
