点评：I travel a lot for business and my favorite cuisine is Middle Eastern/Levant. From my travels, I have eaten at many highly acclaimed Lebanese restaurants, and I can say honestly that this is the best one. On a recent business trip to San Diego, I stopped by Alforon for dinner. The food was so good that I had to come back another night for dinner. I also ordered many dishes “to-go” so that I can enjoy them for breakfast/lunch at the hotel. I tried the following dishes over a 1-week period: Sayyadieh, Fattoush salad, humous, Foul, Labani, Zaater bread, tabouli salad, shawarma, Lahem Bajeen, spinach pies and everything was super delicious. The ingredients were fresh, sandwiches were all baked onsite and to order, portions were plentiful, and the presentation was enticing. While dining, I could hear other patrons raving about how delicious the food is. On top of it, the owners, George and Samiah, were out there speaking with guests, answering questions, offering suggestions and making guests feel as if they are home and part of the family. Truly, this is the best Lebanese restaurant in San Diego, and possibly in the US.
