点评：I was staying in the San Diego Gas Lamp Quarter for business with a coworker. He wanted to have some Ramen for dinner. I had never had ramen before and was willing to give it a try. We walked there from our hotel and arrived around 6:30 PM on a Thursday eve. We were immediately greeted and seated by a very nice young lady.
Having never eaten ramen, I was not sure what to get. There were several options to choose from. I opted for the Beshock Umami Ramen bowl, which included Pork broth with shio base, pork belly chashu, green onions, seasoned half egg, nori (seaweed), and menma (bamboo shoots). You have the option of chop sticks or fork and spoon.
The food arrived quickly. The portion size was not very big, but certainly enough for a meal. The food tasted good and I enjoyed it. Not a big seaweed fan, but ate it too.
I would recommend giving them a try if in the Gas Lamp area. Enjoy!
