点评:During a last minute stop in Boston, my kids requested a duck boat tour. Since the tickets closest to us were sold out for the day, we walked a mile to the science museum location in order to ride. Online purchases were a bit annoying - we needed 5 tickets but because there were not 5 seats left together, it would not let me purchase the tickets in one transaction. However, when we arrived, the employees had no issue seating all parties together. The seated tour was a nice reprieve from the heat of the afternoon and my kids enjoyed a turn driving the boat on the river. As far as the informational part of the tour goes, I found it generally disappointing and our guide's presentation seemed unprepared and awkward. His Shakespearean schitck was lost on the kids who made up half of his audience, as well as most of the adults. The presentation would have been better without the poor attempt at humor and more rehearsed, confident knowledge about the landmarks. My kids - 6, 8, and 10 did not get anything from the tour and learned more from my side commentary as we drove past important sites.
