点评:We had some family from the north visit so we thought of taking them to this place since its such a beautiful place.
We sat down and were completely ignored for 20 minutes.
Since we had two kids who were starving i had to get up to find my waiter. When she finally came in we basically told her the entire order since we had a feeling the dining experience was going to be slow.
There were not a lot of servers and quite a few people.
When our food arrived it was such a disappointment!! If you are tempted to order the Rib Eye there, please do yourself a favor and DONT! It is the worst Rib eye you will ever see, let alone taste. No grill marks, nothing, I honestly dont even know how that thing is cooked cause its not even seared. It came out with an icecream sized scoop of mashed potatoes and nothing else!! and the menu clearly stated “coconut rice”. All the entrees came out with a side salad instead of veggies. When we ask our server about it, cause frankly we were starving but it was such a huge disappointment, she said that the food runners should have mentioned to us that those entrees were coming out with salad instead of veggies. Seriously? She didn’t even take responsibility for something she should’ve told us BEFORE we order so we can decide if thats really what we want in the first place! We are talking about a 38-40$ entrees that looked like a steak from a fast food. or worst!
We ate the horrible food cause we were starving of course and when we wanted to order desserts for the kids the server came and said “is the bill gonna be split?” to which I responded “well we would like to order dessert if thats ok with you” I was just so annoyed by this horrible waitress that had this snarky attitude.
I have been a waitress most of my life, I understand that sometimes we as servers do not have the fault of so many things that happen but with the right attitude, the right responses, taking ownership and just knowing the menu, we can change the experience of the customer.
When my sister asked her something about the vegan dessert she supposedly went to ask what kind of milk did it have (coconut, almond) she said she didnt know that the dessert came in a box.
I had to speak to the manager at the moment which had been my server the last time I came here and he was nice and offer to take out the items that we were not happy with. I just told them to take out the rib eye cause it was truly disgusting and my intent is not to have a free dinner. What aggravated me was that the 20%service was included.
This waitress will never learn how to treat customers if she will get a 20% service tip with her horrendous attitude.
Tip for management, keep the service gratuity if the compaints dont have to do with the server but if it does, take it off! Its the only way they learn how to earn it.
200$ tab for the worst dinner. Still hurts!One regret i have…not taking a picture of that rib eye! wow!
Oh and the waitress didnt even heat the chocolate lava cake… ugh!
