点评：My husband & I invited our family to go out and celebrate as we had both just retired, We decided to eat outside and put tables together. This was on Saturday night, 7/29/23. They were out of the first two choices of beer so we settled for what they had. As we finished eating we asked for our check, the so called "Manager" came out and proceeded to tell us what we owed, we requested to see our checks as all couples were paying their own tab. Seperate checks were requested prior to ordering. The manger again proceed to tell us what we owed individually. My bills $ 69. We had 2 griided chicken sandwiches, 1 order of fries & 4 bottels of beer. That seemed a bit expensive, However, we gave him $80. He asked if we needed change? We said no, we were not told the gratuity was already included. I asked to see the bill as we were taking his word for it, waited 20 minutes more then idecided to go inside along with one of each couple. When we looked at the bill he had already charged us gratuity without letting us know. We told him that since we had already paid the tip we wanted our change back.
He mumbled " You people are something" I told him "He was rude and I wanted to speak to the manager" he ignored me. Again, I said I would like to see the mamager. He said I'm the manager. I asked him what his name was, he said "I don't have to tell you." He finally gave us all our change back.
The food and atmosphere was good, the service lacked as the waiter did not come back after he served us. The food was overpriced...With such a shady staff it will be hard to return. They showed us the receipt then took it back, therefore I cannot send a picture of it.
This is the first restaurant that I have been to that gave a verbal bill.
It spoiled the celebration of our retirement that we worked so hard to achieved.
