点评：Read the reviews and was disappointed. Most of the restaurant was long rows of tables, few smaller tables. Asked to sit outside and the request was ignored. Was offered two options inside, neither of which were comfortable. Locals appeared to be welcomed, others—don’t waste your time. Someone brought water and toasted white bread. Server came to the table soon and just stood there. We gave our drink order and assumed he’d leave so we could figure out the menu. He continued to just stand there pleasantly. We said we’d order later. He just stood and we asked him about a few dishes and he just smiled so we assumed it was a language barrier—not so. So we hurriedly picked some things . Ordered the appetizer sampler for $33. It was swimming in grease. 4 shrimp, two crab(?) fingers, 1 tamale (really just a bunch of fried masa), about 10 chunks of dry pork and the rest plantains—about 2/3 of the platter. Snapper dinner—came with broccoli and a Caesar salad. Burnt broccoli and dry uninteresting snapper. Cuban sandwich was shredded pork, ham and cheese on a hoagie roll. Most generic Cuban sandwich I’ve ever had . We weren’t given any napkins or utensils. Had to hunt down the waiter and finally asked the one server we saw. Never asked if we needed anything. No water or drink refills. Had to hunt him down for the check. We decided he was
just inexperienced. $115 lunch plus tax and tip. I guess we just looked like tourists so they didn’t particularly want our business.
