Just a few blocks from the Embarcadero, in the heart of the financial center of town is this corner bar. Somewhat rustic inside, it has a long bar, multiple high tables and high chairs, it projects the image of an old-fashioned neighborhood bar. The clientele, when we visited, was mostly young students or local office workers. Service was sparse, but there was a modest list of wines by the glass and what you would expect from a full bar. There are bar snacks, which we didn't try. There is background music and the place is moderately loud, with a happy boisterous crowd enjoying their drinks. Prices are modest.
