点评：The Japanese owner is friendly, explained the important tips in detail. He cares about guests’ safety. Our group appreciated the thorough instruction, but for a people in a rush, this introduction part may feel overwhelming.
The bicycles are not at the best /new condition with squeaky breaks but they worked fine for a day trip.
The rental rate is much cheaper than other stores around so it’s understandable.
(For Japanese people, handle break system bicycle this store offers are easier to use because we are used to it than the gear/pedal break type.)
He let us use the locker to store heavy items. No public restroom. No printed maps. (Take a picture of the hand drawn map (in Japanese) with your cellphone.) One smartphone holder per group is provided for free to help navigation.
The little giftshop corner inside the store is actually very nice. I could find a nice earrings as a souvenir for my daughter. The original store T-shirts are cute, too.
Prepare to spend good 10~15 minutes to listen to the instruction, try the bicycle to see if the break works fine for you, before setting off to have a great cycling day.
