点评:I think the handling of Covid in Hawaii has had it's impact on this restaurant. It is a nice small restaurant in a strip mall in Waimea center. We stopped in for a lunch while visiting the town. Most of the space is blocked off for customers to line up to place or pick up their orders; there are maybe 4 tables for eat in available. The menu is diverse (a bit overwhelming for a first time visitor but they do have pictures of their main dishes). Prices very reasonable. Upon selecting your main dish, you select 3 sides from a cafeteria like set up. Sadly the wait staff was wearing a mask while serving us and I honestly couldn't understand what she was saying. I don't think this was a unique experience because she held up a bit of a sign to explain I needed to pick 3 things and if I wanted a fork or chopsticks, but I still didn't know what the in options really were. Thankfully what we picked were delicous. We had the bulogi, japchae noodles in addition to the sides (kimchi, sweet potatoes, and some sort of greens).
