点评：Stopped by Mandy’s Cafe & Deli in Tomah, WI, for a casual bite and found a charming diner experience with some quirky character (just check out that utensil holder!). The place was very clean and had that classic, no-frills diner vibe. Service was on the slow side – took 5-10 minutes for a friendly server to greet me, but considering she seemed to be running the whole show, it’s understandable.
I went with the club sandwich on white bread and a side of fries. The sandwich was solid – the turkey and ham tasted fresh and flavorful, stacked generously with crispy bacon, lettuce, and tomato. The fries? Surprisingly good, crispy on the outside and just the right amount of salt.
This was my second visit, and while the food quality is consistent, the wait times could be improved if they had more help. Still, for the price and quality, it’s a good stop if you're not in a rush.
