点评：My wife and I have stayed in numerous Choice Hotels through the years. None has been like the Shawano, Wisconsin Quality Inn. Regardless of the sign on the motel I have one question. Is the Shawano Quality Inn still a franchised Choice Hotel? In a word the place inside and out shows signs of being "Shopworn." Upon check-in I learned the printer was not working. I was handed a small piece of blank note paper and told to write the make and model of our car. Check-in time was 3 PM. We attempted to check-in at 1 PM and were shown a handwritten paper highlighted in pink noting a $50 fee for early check-in. I have never witnessed an early check-in fee before.
The room had a desk but no desk chair. The person who caulked the tub base in the bathroom appears to have just smeared gray caulk on the white tub side about the floor rather than cleaning up the mess properly. The toilet was extremely low, and the shower had no grab bars. Everything about the place seemed to show a lack of upkeep.
The breakfast was okay with a hot egg dish plus bacon, and the staff was friendly. The cost was reasonable, but no way will we return.
