点评：We were traveling and Portage way about halfway at lunchtime, so we decided to stop here based on the great reviews on TripAdvisor. We're so glad we did.
First off, we'd just arrived in Wisconsin for a week, and so had to have the cheese curds as an appetizer. I was surprised, they were the best deep fried cheese curds I've ever had--and I've had a lot. The cheese curds themselves were very, very fresh, squeaky fresh as they should be. The breading was light, not overpowering. These were excellent.
For my lunch I had a patty melt--I'm a big fan. This was a classic patty melt, ooey and gooey with caramelized onions, swiss cheese, and grilled on marble rye. It was excellent.
Tommy had the Turkey BLT wrap, and it too was very good.
We both enjoyed our meal here, the fast and friendly service, and the great food. Best of all, O found it to be a real bargain to boot!
