Not What I Expected

点评：I was assigned to stay here for work in the area. After the reservation was made, I read the recent reviews, mostly one star. So I was very nervous about staying here.
All my concerns were unfounded. When I arrived around 3:30 pm on a Tuesday, there was no one at the front desk, but a phone with a sign instructing me to call for service. I picked up the phone and a person said she would be right out there, which she was. Check in was very easy and pleasant. Later on I needed to replace my lost room key, and it was the same process: pick up phone, attendant comes out in a few moments.
The hotel is not new; it's showing some slight wear and tear as you might expect. However, my room was clean and nicely decorated. Nothing was broken or dirty. There were enough towels. Each room has a microwave and mini-fridge, which is important to me. The bed was comfortable.
I got to breakfast at 6:15 am, and I think I was the first one there. The food was typical: breads, pancakes, eggs, sausage, fruit, cereal, yogurt, etc. The dining area was clean. No complaints there.
There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance, and the area feels very safe.
Bottom line is my experience was good. I would certainly stay here again.
