点评:Our first and, in all probability, our last visit to Tavern in the Sky. We stopped in on a very slow Sunday just after 12:00 noon; there was one other party in the dining area when we arrived. Our server seemed to be not present from the get-go. Our appetizer of salmon mousse on on cucumber tarts was served with no plates. (I had to walk to the bar and ask our server for them.) A couple came in and sat next to us but left out of frustration when they were told that the restaurant could not serve regular coffee due to an equipment problem (but they had decaf available.) The customer asked how this could be possible (and we wondered the same thing, considering their physical connection to the hotel.). Finally, our sandwiches arrived. They were lackluster at best. Our bill for 2 sandwiches, an appetizer, and four drinks came to a little over $100. The quality of the food and service was on par with a chain restaurant but undoubtedly unworthy of a Kohler property. Herb would roll in his grave had he been aware.
