Rude, lied and disrespectful

点评:We purchased tickets online a month in advance and drove 2 hours to take a tour here. Upon the start of the tour, which takes place outside, we were told we must wear a mask. We said we can't do that and that no where on their website or in emails does it discuss this policy. They lied and said it's on the website yet refused to show us where (because it's not). One of the workers was unmasked in the compound while this conversation started. They shamed us when we asked for a refund by saying we were taking money away from the cats. They stated it's a state wide mandate, which it's not in an outdoor setting. They showed zero kindness, care or empathy to the wasted time on our end. The experience could have easily been meant with respect and apologies, but instead we were shamed, threatened that they'd call the police, they refused to take accountability or admit their responsibility in the lack of communication on this policy. Apparently everyone else just rolls over to this demand on their end. This situation was shocking, heartbreaking and sad. If that's their policy, that's their choice. They need to clearly provide that information up front. Truth and politeness go a long way. None of which was shown here.
