Not as hard as they say...
Salish Cliffs Golf Club的点评
点评：Let me start by saying this was my first time playing Salish Cliffs. It’s a course I’ve always wanted to play, but honestly after reading reviews and hearing from friends about the tight fairways and tall grass bordering the fairways – into which any errant shot was doomed – I considered it above my skill level.
So when friends finally coerced me into playing this course, I dropped into Costco – bought a couple of dozen cheap balls and headed south. Turns out what people say is slightly true, The fairways are NOT too narrow. In fact, they are quite the opposite, but do narrow down in some places. The grass borders ARE thick and deep, but I did find plenty of balls to replenish my supply which was totally unnecessary. During my first round I completed it with the same ball I started with. Round 2 was a bit different. I lost 3 balls. (though I found 6 without really looking) But honestly, those shots were so bad I would have lost them on any course. Heck, I’d probably lost them on a driving range!
We played the Green tees (Masters) which for an 18 handicap is plenty of distance. They keep the fairways well watered so there wasn’t a lot of roll out on your drives, which left for some long shots in even with a great drive. The greens were a bit slow but rolled true and since I steered clear of the bunkers – no comment as to how they were.
Summary? Don’t be scared off by the reviews saying this course is too hard. It was in excellent shape (hats off to the greens crew) and while challenging, it wasn’t a grueling loop. And everyone around the golf shop was super friendly and helpful.

总结？不要被那些说这个球场太难的评论吓倒。球场状况极佳（向果岭工作人员致敬），虽然很有挑战性，但并不是一个令人精疲力竭的环形球道。高尔夫商店里的每个人都非常友好，乐于助人。
