点评：While I do believe this was a one off, I would not recommend staying with Centrum at Fort Worden until they can figure out their food situation. I was a chaperone for Waterworld this last week and it was a complete mess when it came to the food and what was being feed to the kids and adults. We had slimy eggs, Moldy bread, rotten apples, sour/expired yogurt, No proteins were served at many meals. They loaded the kids up on sugar and carbs when the food was editable and they would have a sugar crash in class. Me and a couple other champions had to go spend out own money to feed as many kids as we couple. At one point I had 15 or more kids in my room getting food. I ran out of all my protein I had gotten for myself as I have dietary restriction that I did not think they would be able to handle so I had gotten a lot of the food I could eat but I ended up giving it all away.. I was given a sack lunch with stale bread with a half of piece of ham that was slimy and a rotten apple... All the staff knew about the food issues and all I got was "It's our head office that hired the catering company" They offered $30 to the people who were going out and getting food for the kids. I personally spent over $130 on food not counting what I had gotten myself before I got there that was giving to kids. $30 refund is a joke! we paid $700 for this week and we were given rotten expired food. I have photos and emails to back it all up. A apology needs to go out to each person that was at Waterworld this year. And that catering company needs to be fired! At one point we were told we were just given peanut butter sandwiches, which great except it was given to a kid with peanut allergy, then after we all freaked out running to that kid, they said it's nuttella, which my daughter is highly allergic too, so then we were running to her to stop her from eating it, THEN another staff member said no.. its sun butter... THEY HAD NOT A CLUE WHAT IT WAS!! completely unacceptable.
