Unresponsive customer service - don't waste your money.

点评：Do not book at this location and try one of the neighboring hotels instead. Awful customer service and have no regard for public safety. We had reservations booked thru booking.com and we got a severe snow storm that shut down the roads in the Portland area. They don't treat the roads here in Portland so when it snows the entire city shuts down. They closed down I-84 due to a 100-car pileup on the highway because of weather conditions. I called the hotel 48 hours in advance to our check-in time and they said due to their cancellation policy of 72 hours they would have to charge my card. I emailed them all the news articles that made national headline that the highways and roads were closed by us and they still would not oblige and refund me for the reservation. They instead wanted me to risk my family's lives and make the drive. I followed up several times via phone and email and nothing. My in laws were staying that same weekend at Icicle Village Resort in 2 rooms and they were very understanding and canceled their reservations no problem. Their cancellation policy should not apply in this case. I own a business and we had to reschedule patients and we of course did not charge a cancellation fee because of weather- it's common sense.
