点评:The restaurant is under new ownership and we hoped the tradition of quality would continue. I don’t write one-star reviews without trying to work with the store first. Two honest attempts to contact were not returned by management.
Arriving early for drinks before dinner we had to argue the hostess into letting us sit at a table in the lounge; the tables were ‘for eating guests’ and ‘this table is reserved for the owners’. We wanted to sit by the fire but the fireplace was closed off, blocked with cardboard and tape. Please sit at the bar. Could we be seated in the dining room early? No. Well, okay. You can have a table in the lounge. Can we carry our tab into the dining room? No, close it out please.
So dinner… Please hurry and order, the kitchen closes at eight. The food was only okay, not ‘fine dining’. No lingering over coffee. Can we close out this check? Now the RESTAURANT is closing at eight. In my experience, in many places dining is just getting started at eight.
Overall, disappointed as we had high hopes. Disappointed also there was no interest in listening to a patron.
