点评:This is a newly opened restaurant/pub that elevates the local Clallam Bay/Sekiu food scene in a big way. The interior has been newly refurbished with a clean modern vibe and the staff are outgoing and friendly. The bar has an unusually diverse selection of craft beers for the area, but also has $3 Bud Light. The wine selection is solid, and mixed drinks were also available--I tried their special berry Mule and it was fantastic. The food options were familiar yet fresh and creative. Several burger options with thick fresh patties in wonderful homemade Brioche buns were available, including the excellent version with sauteed mushrooms, caramelized onion/bacon/burbon jam that I had. My companions had a yummy "Krak'n Cheese" dish with a barbecue sauce twist, and a creatively flavored homemade veggie burger with a big pile of the freshest mixed greens I've ever seen out this way. The highlight was the dessert we shared (the co-owner has high brow culinary training in desserts and baking)--Earl Grey cheesecake with lavender whipped cream. Sounds weird, especially to a person like me who is not particularly a cheesecake fan, but the cheesecake was delicate and the flavor combination was amazing. We will definitely be going back here again. I look forward to seeing what they come up with as they build their menu out--maybe a fish dish of the day (the local fish seller is a block away!) or a pasta offering? But still a big jump up from the other choices in the northwest corner of the continental US!
